New Disabled South, in partnership with the Students with Disabilities Advocacy Group, is excited to invite young disabled voters to a virtual voter education event on October 16 at 7-8 PM ET/ 6-7 PM CT. There is a lot at stake in this election and your vote matters. But voting alone won’t build a better world - we need community care and support. Join us on October 16th to get ready to vote while also building a stronger community of young, disabled activists!
This fun, interactive event will bring together disabled youth and organizers from across the South to help you make a plan to vote this year. We’ll be talking about voting by mail, voter ID laws, voting accommodations, sample ballots, and more! This is a great opportunity to make your plan to vote connect with others in the disability community.
